The Weekend

On Saturday we went to an International Food Festival at the New Covenant Church, just about 2km south of Nelspruit. They had advertised food from 20 different countries, but I think it must have been between 25 and 30! We tried some Indian, Sri Lankan food as well as english fish&chips. The portions was not very big, but cost just R3.50.

There was even a stall selling swedish food!!! Prickig korv och köttbullar....

Good Morning!
This is the view from the stoop outside my study. It is sunny, but very cold here now. It is winter, but nevertheless unusually cold for the Lowveld.

My First Attempt...

Now how will this be? Like a diary on the net. Could be a nice way of showing how everyday life is down here. I must say I have been very much inspired by my youngest daughter, Anneli, who has a VERY nice blog about my little grandson, Simon.
