Black Mamba

This afternoon we saw a Black Mamba in a corner outside our house. We called for help, but the snake escaped up the wall and under the tiles of the roof... So, now we have a Black Mamba "under our roof" litterally speaking! The snake expert told us it has probably been there for several months, but they are so shy that we haven't seen it until now.
The snake catching will continue tomorrow morning.

A Nice Birthday!

We spent the weekend in the KNP.
First night at Lower Sabie Rest Camp, the second night at Satara.

We had a very relaxing time, enjoying the beautiful camps, but also the traveling through the park, even though it was VERY hot!

Photographically it was very successful, even though we did not see any "big cats".

This Klipspringer was like a statue!
